How can Da Vinci be characterized as a true Renaissance Man?

I think Da Vinci be characterized as a true Renaissance Man because his ideas for everything was and reborn from the Rome. Also, his way of thinking is very extraordinary and mystic. For example,he drew the Mona Lisa's smile. The smile is very different because you can't really tell by the smile if she is happy or sad. On the other hand, he was characterized as a true Renaissance because he think outside the Roman Catholic Church. Besides that, he was an inventor who made a military canon which is very useful in war. Also he was very known as a scientist because he sculpted the foetus of a actual women. Adding to that, he was a very famous inventor by his bicycle, helicopter, an "auto-mobile", and some gruesome weapons.

Brunelleschi's Virtuosity

I believe most prompted Brunelleschi to succeed in the construction of his masterpiece is virtuosity. Using creative leadership, Brunelleschi showed many of the famous architectures and the magistrate his designs of the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore. He was able to accomplish by his technical skill, fluency and Creativity. Also, he found a way to not let the rain water leak from the roof. Besides that, he discovered a skill that doesn’t allow the dome to fall in the inside of the dome. In order to construct the dome, he was able to think something no one else had ever done before, and to redefine architecture and engineering of Roman Empire. He was also gifted with special knowledge of or interest in art and architecture. The actions and decisions of people effect change greatly, take a look at Brunelleschi’s dome. If money had not been provide to Brunelleschi, the dome will never be standing. Also, Florence will not be same as today. “In the beginners mind there are many possibilities, but in the experts mind there are few.” Suzuki Shunryu. Where do new ideas come from?

For me, new ideas come from imagination. Because imagination allows you to think of new ideas. All the famous invention came form inventors. Thomas Edison who wanted a new source of energy instead of fire. Then, he invented electricity to made everyone's life better. Also, the Wright brothers wanted a transportation that is faster than train and cars. So, they wanted invented airplane. In conclusion, I think new ideas come form everyone's imagination.
